I had a lot of fun quilting this quilt as it was small, only 1.11m square, as I normally get such large quilts. I digitized the outer border swags allowing me to quilt them as I progressed down the quilt so I didn't have to turn the quilt. I SID around borders and created the spaces to be quilted with motifs. The motifs are the wonderful Keryn Emmerson's. The customer was ecstatic as she reckoned that I had turned a masterpiece out of crap again
Raffle Quilt for School Camp
My oldest son is going off on his first school camp this year so I decided to make a quilt to raise funds - I used my hand dyed fabrics and quilted it with Hermoine Agee's Baptist Fan. My son helped cut the fabric, so we are both pretty pleased with ourselves
