The Key to My heart

For our sweetie's birthday I decided to make him a special present. I all the years that we have been living here he has never had a front door key, we have always been here or simply left the door unlocked (that doesn't happen anymore). So I made a little quilt (how unusual - a quilt) and it is called 'The Key to My Heart'. The orange background is hand dyed, the lime green is one of my favourites and the binding fabric was given to my by my friend Ros.

Too cute. I like the colors you used. I think I am orange challenged.

Thanks you so much for your comments - I LOVE lime green, pink and orange. Although sometimes I try so hard not to, and try to be sophisticated and go for mute colours. However the colours just make so happy

Very cute and the colours are gorgeous. I appreciate brights but I'm too chicken to use them.
Looks like there's much going on at your place, and the garden experiments sound interesting. I tried to post a comment when you put up the volcanic pecans but blogger wouldn't let me. Wonderful picture of one of life's little moments!

The comment thing should be sorted - thanks Suzette - in all my newness I ticked the wrong box and no one could comment. All fixed. For now.
