Redwork

One of my loves is redwork - this is for a quilt made from Bronwyn Hayes's Red Brolly designs. I admire her designs so much and I always make them bigger so that I can use stem stitch instead of the normal back stitch and I can make them into a quilt that is bigger.

Your stitchery is beautiful. Bronwyn is also one of my favorite stitchery designers. I love her lines.

I love Bronwyn's designs too! I always use stem stitch, - my backstitch never looks nice.
These of your's are wonderful!

Your handwork is magnificent! I, too, love redwork and am about to begin to make some real linen dish towels for family and friends for Christmas gifts. However, (hanging head in shame), I embroider them out on my sewing machine using 50w cotton thread...Close but no where near as beautiful as yours!
